Cheryl's Review and Reflection:
Organized by category, this is the most extensive collection of spiritual and religious texts available anywhere on the Internet. Most of the content is provided by public domain books and manuscripts which have been lovingly scanned, checked and rechecked, and then gently deposited in the Archive for the study and enjoyment of anyone fortunate enough to happen upon this amazing treasure. We tend to think that if it isn't in our awareness then it hasn't been written about yet. The ISTA will help you quickly get past this faulty assumption. Across every spiritual tradition you can think of and many, many you will never have heard of, there are an uncountable number of people that have struggled over the centuries with the same questions that we struggle with today. AND many of these people wrote their thoughts down. Additionally this multitude of tradition has produced sacred manuscript that most of us have never heard of, much less read. The ISTA brings to us these works organized and searchable. You can even get the entire Archive on DVD or CD. In the end, the Internet Sacred Text Archive reminds me that there are many, many paths and the Archive may certainly help you find your own. Namaste!
