Satguru Subramuniyaswami, known as Gurudeva, was an American man who was initiated as a Hindu priest, began his work in California and in the 1970s organized the building and establishment of a Hindu temple and study center on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.  This book, Lemurian Scrolls, details first his experiences of receiving information through the Akashic Records and second presents all the information he received which pertained mostly to the establishment on Earth of a holy Hindu order.

My heart is captured by the description of his initial receiving which was perceived through the cigarette smoke of fellow diners at a hotel's outdoor breakfast area.  Gurudeva explains how this method of reception occupied his mind so that the higher parts of himself were open and ready to receive the messages.  He spoke aloud what he received and his fellow monks wrote down all they heard.  This book is the culmination of this process.

This is an amazing book that I highly recommend to anyone interested in the path of the mystic.  It offers a rare connection between the idea of the Akashic Records and Hinduism.  It also offers insight into the beliefs and structure of the Himalayan Academy, the focal point of the Hindu temple and community built by Gurudeva.  Om, namaste.
